Dan's Pathetic Attempt at a Web Page

Official beta version 0.8xPa:5CA release - 11/20/00

That's right - another useless homepage to clog the internet with worthless junk.  I don't have all that much time on my hands, so this most likely won't be updated very often.   I hope this little navigator below will keep you sufficiently entertained.  And if it doesn't - screw you!  Let's see YOUR webpage!

Daily Picture
I'm going to start doing a semi-daily picture I think.  Since I have no time, it'll probably be more weekly than daily.

Ramblings/Journal

12/5/00 - As you know, this site has not been updated recently.  Well, I've got news for you - it's not going to be.  I've been busy with Sun Week, I've got finals coming up, and more importantly, I'm working on a new website design. So you can all sit tight and hold your horses and keep your panties on, and other similar expressions.  In the mean time, go to the National Sun Awareness Week website.  It was created in a single evening.  = )

11/30/00 - Today I went home and got a new TV and VCR!  It's freakin' huge!  yay! I can "see things" on the TV now.  This is great.  And I'm about finished with my last paper of the year now.  Will's addiction is still going strong.

Here's some site updates - I received a new advice letter and responded to it.  Also, I put real pictures of Tim on the friend pics page.  You can click on the link above. I'm not making a new one.  Tough.

11/29/00 - Realised I hadn't done this in a while, so I feel oblidged to write something.  Too bad nothing interesting happens to me.  Uhh.....we lost in indoor soccer yesterday in the first day of the tournament.  Which means we're done now.  Oh - I also donated blood today.  That was fun.  And she tore a flap of skin up.  That wasn't good.  It was hard to run back to my room to pick up my chem lab when I forgot it.  That was no fun.  Will didn't leave the room all afternoon today because he was playing Zelda on 64.  Ha ha.  I've corrupted him!  Me any my technology will destory Will forever!  Well - everyone's leaving for dinner.  Bye bye - see ya next week kids!

Since the last bit there, I watched the Jet Li movie Fist of Legend. It was sooooooo awesome!  Unbelievable!  And the cool part was that Jerry was doing it for the Asian Studies club, so we did it in one of the big CNS lecture halls.  I now know how to work the cool touch-screen thing.  It controls everything - power to every input device, the big screen, volume, playing the VCR, and all sorts of other cool crap.  It is a tech wonder.....it made me gleeful.  Anyway, yeah, so there were a total of 4 people, including me that watched it in the big ol' lecture hall. That was amusing. Oooo - and I'm offically done with chem labs this semester!!!!! OH! And I'm getting a new TV and a VCR tomorrow! I didn't realise how great stuff was until I started writing this.  Coooooool.

11/27/00 - I have returned! Praise the Lord!!  I'm back and better than ever people........well actually not.  But, the important thing is that I brought back Home Site 4 to do my web work in.  Oh god - it is SOOOOOO much better than composer. I'm in web-geek heaven here! Woohoo!  Which means now I'm more likely to work on the new site design.  It's going to have different colors and different navigational logic. It will be much better. Like a real website. You will like it. If only I could do any sort of imaging.........*sigh* Oh well.

As for other things that happened this weekend, let's see.  I watched the movie Mercy.  That was interesting.  Went to Curtis Orchand, saw Kyle, poked him in the eye, visited Sam Xu! and Heather Schmidt! at Heather Schmidt!'s house, ate good cookies and played competetive magnetic poetry there, watched assorted movies, and did other things.  Just so you don't have to ask: It was good.  Thanksgiving break was good.  So don't ask.  =P

11/21/00 - Going home for Thanksgiving break.  Site will not be updated until I return, but you guys can still catch me on AIM probably @ SomeDanGuy.  Also, my number at home is 351-1797.  The main line for our house is 351-1844.  Try both is I don't answer my line.  Have a great break peeps!  Oh wait - that sounds too normal.  What I meant was, May your turkeys be dead and plentiful!

11/20/00 - The Bond-playing frenzy does not show any signs of subsiding.  As I suspected, Sun Awareness Week is not going to happen this week.  But that means is shall be done later with much higher quality.  I rented a digital camera for a little while today and took some pictures of the dorm which will soon be appearing here.  The picture-taking took place of Biology studying. Oh well.  The test was pretty dang hard.  I did really well on the hormone and lab parts though I think.  It was just those darn non-multiple choice ones about DNA/RNA that screwed me over.  In aboot 13 minutes I will be attempting to register for a May term class.  Who knows which one, if any I will be able to get into. Perhaps there will be an update later.  And perhaps in the next month I will overhaul the site so it looks a little more decent and shows that I actually know a thing or 2 about the web and designing.
